With all of the build up to the winter Olympic games we had amusements on the brain. We decided to see what helped ease the cold, wet months for Everett citizens of days gone by. Enjoy!
Hi Wendy, I don’t believe we do have any neon signs in the Collection but I will keep my eye out. Are you looking for a Snohomish County project? I wonder if MOHAI would have any that relate to Snohomish County, I know that they have quite a few in their collection.
I’m not sure where you’re getting your info, but great topic.
I needs to spend some time learning much more or
understanding more. Thanks for excellent information I was looking for this
information for my mission.
Hi there! This blog post couldn’t be written any better!
Looking at this post reminds me of my previous roommate!
He continually kept talking about this. I am going to forward
this post to him. Pretty sure he’s going to have a good read.
Thanks for sharing!
Hey guys – Would you happen to have a collection of cameras through the ages that we could possible put together a fun exhibit – something similar to the typewriters??

Thank you , Wendy… You’re a favorited poster on FB…. Say, Wendy, ….A comment & question, … For 2015, Verena Schippert ( 3-D ) and myself, ( 2-D ), are honored as the Artists of the Year.. I know this is really the first time a Photographer has been so honored. Along those lines, though,..Everett’s historical record has been captured on, glass plates, throug film, and now electronically by the talents of both men & women ( Rigby Sisters) practicing their craft. I don’t know where , or how to contact families , archives of some of these early lens people.
While I know the importance of this Award, I’d like to ” tip my hat ” , and possibly celebrate US All…
Right off the top of my list are some Contempories of mine, Rich Frishman, John Lindstrom, Pete Kinch, mar hands, Bob Bensons, Steve Hartson, Jim Leo, several Herald Photographers etc… It would be fun to have some sort of display to mark this achievement of both camera equipment & images… Your thoughts, ?
Also, do you have anything on the Rigby Sisters? (I found info on historylink – but didn’t know if you the museum has any items in their collection….)

Do you have any old neon signs in the collection – working or not – doesn’t matter……
I don’t believe so but have asked the curator to double check. I’m sure she will have her volunteers do some digging.
