Those Who Serve

Recently watching the PBS Series The Roosevelts has us thinking about service and those who lead us. Are we born with that drive or is it something learned. Here is a peek at one of our own political families.

The Hartley girls, Jeanne, Judy and Marcia standing with their grandparents, Roland and Nina Hartley.  Roland was the mayor of Everett and the governor of the state from 1925-1933.  His wife, Nina, was the daughter of David Clough, governor of Minnesota.

  1. I love this one!  We should reproduce it and sell it to people who might be interested.  We have the governor’s desk in our collection as well.
